Team Leader, Seller Onboarding & Activation (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Team Leader to drive seller onboarding and activation for TikTok Shop. The role will manage a remote business development team, turning inbound leads into active sellers on the platform while ensuring a seamless setup experience.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard and lead a remote BD team of 20‑25 executives, defining clear role expectations and performance metrics.
• Establish a high‑performance remote operating model with daily tracking, rapid corrective actions and a culture of transparency.
• Mentor team members on inbound lead conversion, pitch customization, negotiation and platform setup workflows.
• Design and enforce a standardized inbound‑lead BD process, creating playbooks, scripts and templates for each stage.
• Oversee end‑to‑end lead management, ensuring leads are prioritized, assigned and followed up within defined SLAs.
• Implement data‑driven performance tracking, defining KPIs such as conversion rate, pitch‑to‑close ratio and onboarding cycle time.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, identify gaps and apply optimization solutions to sustain revenue growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading remote business development or sales teams in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong execution focus with a track record of meeting ambitious growth targets.
• Excellent analytical mindset and ability to use data for performance optimization.
• Effective communication and coaching skills to maintain team morale and alignment.
