Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer to join our partner company in France. The role focuses on designing, developing, and improving backend systems and APIs within a collaborative engineering environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain reliable and scalable software solutions.
• Build and enhance middle‑end and back‑end services using modern Java development practices.
• Create and maintain internal and external APIs with a focus on quality and usability.
• Participate in test‑driven development, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Write unit and performance tests to ensure application stability and scalability.
• Debug, optimise, and document code, diagrams, and technical specifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of professional experience in software engineering or a similar development role.
• Strong foundation in Java‑based technologies and server‑side web application development.
• Passion for building reliable software and learning new technologies.
