Software Engineer, C++

About the role

Snap Inc. is looking for a Software Engineer to join the Brain‑Computer Interface team in Paris. You will work on sensor data acquisition, ML inference, and real‑time performance for next‑generation wearable devices.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate systems for sensor data acquisition and ML inference with robust real‑time performance.
• Collaborate with embedded systems and ML teams to run complex software efficiently on wearable hardware and cloud back‑ends.
• Design and implement tools for analyzing performance and quality of algorithms.
• Write clean, well‑designed, and tested C++ code.

Required profile

• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of professional C++ development experience.
• Fluency in English and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with hardware, software, and ML teams.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of C++.
• Experience with version control (git).
• Familiarity with asynchronous programming, real‑time systems, and digital signal processing.
• Experience with EEG or other physiological sensing systems and wearable devices.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and code‑quality tools.
• Use of AI tools to support engineering workflows.
