Senior SRE / DevOps Engineer

About the role

beparallel is building AI agents to automate administrative processes in healthcare. As the founding Senior SRE / DevOps Engineer, you will design, implement and run the reliability layer that powers our AI systems across multi‑cloud and on‑premise hospital environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain multi‑cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP and Azure, including container orchestration (ECS/Fargate, GKE Autopilot, Docker).
• Ensure health‑data compliance (HDS) and security, managing VPN connectivity and on‑premise deployments via Ansible.
• Build CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and provide observability (logging, monitoring, tracing).
• Define DevOps processes from scratch, including incident response and infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform, Terragrunt, Packer).

Required profile

• 7+ years of production infrastructure ownership, not just ticket execution.
• Highly autonomous, comfortable working solo in a fast‑paced startup.
• Strong security mindset with exposure to health‑data regulations (HDS, HIPAA).

Required skills

• Kubernetes, Docker, ECS/Fargate, GKE Autopilot.
• Terraform (and preferably Terragrunt, Packer, Ansible).
• AWS, GCP, Azure multi‑cloud experience.
• CI/CD with GitHub Actions, VPN/site‑to‑site networking.
• Security and compliance for health‑data.
