Senior Sales Manager – Payments (Paris)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Payments Senior Sales Manager to join our Commercial Payments Team in Paris. You will drive rapid growth by selling Checkout.com’s full payments technology stack to mid‑market and large enterprise organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a consultative payments strategist, advising companies on optimal payment structures.
• Identify, qualify and close high‑potential prospects and partners across multiple verticals.
• Build prospect engagement strategies in collaboration with marketing, business development and product teams.
• Pitch next‑generation payment solutions and value‑added services to C‑suite stakeholders.
• Prepare high‑quality presentations and proposals, and lead negotiations.
• Become the expert on Checkout.com’s technology stack and address detailed product questions.
• Orchestrate the full sales process, drive urgency and manage mutual action plans.
• Maintain a well‑organized portfolio, nurturing key accounts with deep industry understanding.

Required profile

• 5+ years of enterprise sales experience, preferably in the payments industry.
• Proven track record of high performance and self‑sourced leads.
• Highly motivated with excellent communication skills.
• Strong network of prospects and partners within the payments landscape.
• Tech‑savvy with a passion for fintech and payments.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to negotiate complex structures.
• Fluent in English and French.
