Senior Full-stack Engineer

About the role

Prose is looking for a Senior Full‑stack Engineer to design, build and ship the systems behind its AI‑powered beauty‑tech platform, Singular. You will work in a compact senior engineering team, owning end‑to‑end features that power personalized consultations, e‑commerce and manufacturing workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and ship features across Python/Django services, REST APIs and React front‑end applications.
• Ensure quality through automated testing, code reviews, observability and production monitoring.
• Identify and reduce technical debt, improving performance and maintainability.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, including domain boundaries, data schemas and event‑driven patterns.
• Advance AI‑augmented development practices and help shape internal tooling.
• Collaborate with product, design, data and operations teams, mentor engineers and document technical decisions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with both backend and frontend production systems.
• Strong backend expertise in Python and frameworks such as Django, Django Rest Framework or FastAPI.
• Solid modern frontend experience with React and the JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem.
• Hands‑on fluency with AI‑assisted development workflows.
• Comfortable working in cloud‑native environments (GCP, Docker, CI/CD).
• Autonomous, pragmatic mindset and fluent English communication.
