Senior Financial Controller (France)

About the role

Shine, a leading European fintech, is looking for a Senior Financial Controller to join its French Financial Controlling team. This hands‑on, operational position works closely with the Head of Financial Controlling – France and collaborates with both local and central stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain monthly financial reports, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash‑flow statements.
• Analyse variances, explain financial performance and deliver actionable insights.
• Support the FP&A team in budgeting and forecasting for the French entity.
• Ensure data quality and consistency across all financial reports.
• Participate in year‑end close activities and related reporting.
• Drive cost control, manage assets and oversee capitalization processes.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, hands‑on attitude.
• Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
• Fluency in English; French language skills are a plus.
