Collections & Accounts Receivable Internship

About the role

Join Free2move's Finance team in Paris for a 6‑month paid internship focused on collections and accounts receivable. You will support cash management, client accounting and collaborate with Finance and Sales to ensure smooth payment flows.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the accounts receivable ledger, track outstanding invoices and ensure timely payments.
• Proactively communicate with clients by phone and email to follow up on overdue invoices and resolve queries.
• Reconcile customer accounts, apply cash and allocate payments accurately.
• Assist with month‑end closing activities related to receivables and prepare related reports.
• Contribute to process‑improvement initiatives to streamline the collections cycle.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and able to work independently as well as within a team.

Required skills

• Strong numerical aptitude and basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with ERP or accounting software (a plus).
