Release Train Engineer – ART USA

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft seeks an experienced Agile Release Train Engineer (RTE) to support the OEDA department in Toulouse. You will drive the transformation of global industrial, assembly, and supply‑chain processes, ensuring smooth delivery of complex aerospace projects.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate PI Planning readiness, execution, and system demos at the train level.
• Coach Scrum Masters, teams, and leaders in Lean‑Agile practices and ARP deployment.
• Manage risks, dependencies, and impediments while aligning with Product Managers and Owners.
• Define and track value metrics, lead train‑level synchronization meetings, and champion continuous improvement.
• Ensure consistent application of deployment golden rules, strategies, and new methodologies across sites.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in aerospace or similarly complex industrial environments.
• Background in Informatics, Manufacturing Engineering, Production/Logistics, or equivalent.
• Advanced English and German proficiency.
• Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time.

Required skills

• SAFe SPC certification.
• Strong Agile and Scrum expertise.
• Deep knowledge of ERP/SAP ecosystems (MM, PP, SD modules).
• Project and change management capabilities.
