Product & Operations Management Apprentice

About the role

Back Market, a global marketplace for refurbished electronics, is looking for a Product & Business Operations Apprentice to join its Partnerships team in Bordeaux. The team works with telecom, retail and other strategic partners to make refurbished technology more accessible, and the apprenticeship sits at the intersection of product, business operations, partnerships, analytics and commercial operations. It starts in January 2027 and is intended for 12 months (24 months to be discussed).

Key responsibilities

• Monitor partnership health by updating dashboards, reviewing customer journeys, tracking incidents and preparing portfolio summaries.
• Manage product partnership initiatives, document requirements, coordinate delivery and contribute to experiments.
• Coordinate launch and QA activities, including test plans and launch-readiness updates.
• Support business operations through reporting, basic analysis, meeting follow-ups, documentation and invoicing reconciliation.
• Help onboard new partners, research potential partners, prepare benchmarks and improve or automate recurring processes.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a French higher-education programme with an apprenticeship contract (contrat d'alternance / apprentissage).
• Fluent in written and spoken French and English, as the team is international.
• Organized, able to handle several topics at once, and interested in product, partnerships, e-commerce, telecom, marketplaces or business operations.
• Bonus points for experience in product management, partnerships, analytics, dashboards, QA, experiments, automation or no-code tools, and in e-commerce, telecom, retail or marketplace environments.

• Tableau or other business intelligence tools, and internal Back Market tools
