Planning Manager for Large‑Scale Data Center Projects

About the role

The Planning Manager will develop and maintain schedules for large‑scale data centre projects across Europe, reporting to the Corporate Construction Planning Manager. The role requires independent work as well as collaboration with local planners and other project services disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule projects using Primavera P6, creating timelines for infrastructure programmes exceeding €100 million.
• Analyse project documents, integrate contract scope changes, and produce progress, critical‑path and deviation reports.
• Develop baseline schedules with S‑curves, work‑breakdown structures and earned‑value management metrics.
• Prepare and present Time‑Impact Analyses and quantitative schedule risk assessments.
• Coordinate with local planners, ensure schedule consistency, and act as the main contact for external customers on scheduling matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a planning‑engineering discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 7–12 years of relevant planning experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to lead planning activities across multiple projects and to work within time‑ and budget‑constraints.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 (mandatory).
• Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and quantitative schedule risk management.
• Proficiency in Power BI and Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with PRA or other QSRA modelling software.
