People Engagement & Development Director

About the role

The People Engagement & Development Director will shape and execute Chloé’s global people engagement and learning strategy, aligning with the brand’s heritage, values, and growth ambitions. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this senior leader will drive talent engagement, retention, and an immersive employee journey across headquarters, regional offices, and retail locations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a global engagement and learning strategy for HQ, regions, and retail.
• Define, monitor, and manage the associated budget.
• Oversee regular employee satisfaction surveys and develop action plans.
• Champion an inclusive culture rooted in Chloé’s history and values.
• Create a seamless employee journey from onboarding through community events, peer learning, and individual development plans.
• Manage communication channels, including LMS, intranet, and LinkedIn.
• Equip leaders to meet business challenges and unleash creative potential.
• Design personalized development paths for top talent.
• Organise internal events and collaborate with global stakeholders, including leaders, retail teams, and regional HR.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of experience in learning, internal communication, or related fields within a dynamic, creative, international environment.
• Proven experience in matrix and multicultural organisations.
• Strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities.
• Deep expertise in employee engagement, learning & development, and change management.
• Sensitivity to brand culture and ability to influence multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
• Ability to inspire, mobilise teams, and demonstrate business agility.
• Creative mindset and aesthetic sensitivity.
