Overnight Front Desk Hospitality Agent

About the role

Sonder is looking for an Overnight Front Desk Hospitality Agent to be the face of the brand for guests arriving during night hours. You will guide guests through the tech‑enabled experience, ensure smooth check‑in/out, and provide exceptional service throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, manage self‑check‑in via the Sonder app, and answer in‑person and digital inquiries.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of front‑desk and back‑of‑house areas across multiple properties.
• Support housekeeping audits, inventory checks, minor maintenance, and technology issues as needed.
• Assist market leadership with administrative tasks and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• When applicable, set up and serve breakfast buffets while adhering to HACCP standards.

Required profile

• Experience in hotels, restaurants, or other customer‑facing hospitality roles.
• Personable, service‑minded, and positive attitude toward guest interaction.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and proactive approach to guest needs.
• Ability to work flexible evenings, weekends, holidays and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation for daily travel between properties.

Required skills

• Proficiency with multiple desktop and mobile applications.
• Excellent written communication and computer literacy.
