About the role

The Banque de France is seeking a Machine Operator for a fixed‑term contract to support temporary activity growth at its North France Fiducial Centre. The role is based in a semi‑industrial, highly automated environment located in Sainghin‑en‑Mélantois, near Lille.

Key responsibilities

Perform sorting operations of banknotes using high‑capacity, high‑technology machines.
Load and pilot the sorting machine, monitoring its performance.
Identify and manage any malfunctions in coordination with the maintenance team.
Handle manual tasks, including lifting loads up to 10 kg and maintaining proper posture.
Work full‑time, Monday to Friday, in a climate‑controlled workshop.

Required profile

Completed secondary education (Baccalauréat required).
Previous experience operating automatic machines.
Rigorous, methodical, and able to work well in a team.
Respect for confidentiality and availability for shift work.
