Money Laundering Compliance Officer – AML/CFT Lead

About the role

Freedom24, an international fintech and investment platform, is launching a regulated digital banking service in France. We are looking for a Money Laundering Compliance Officer to design and lead the AML/CFT function for this new business line.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AML/CFT policies and procedures in line with ACPR, TRACFIN and EU regulations (AMLD5/6).
• Build and oversee the KYC/KYB framework, including customer due diligence (CDD/EDD).
• Monitor transactions, detect suspicious activity and prepare filings to TRACFIN.
• Conduct risk assessments across products, customers, geographies and channels.
• Serve as primary liaison with regulators such as ACPR, TRACFIN and AMF.
• Provide AML/CFT, sanctions and fraud prevention training to staff.
• Report compliance risks and controls to senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of AML/CFT compliance experience, preferably in banking or fintech.
• Strong knowledge of French and EU regulatory frameworks (Code monétaire et financier, LCB‑FT, AMLD).
• Experience interacting with ACPR and TRACFIN.
• Understanding of digital financial services and associated risks.
• Fluent in French and English.

Required skills

• ACAMS certification (preferred).
