Senior Accountant (FR/US)

About the role

Dolead is looking for a Senior Accountant to manage accounting operations across France and North America. Reporting to the Senior Chief Accountant, you will split your time between US accounting and French accounts payable, working in a hybrid setting from our Paris office.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full US accounting cycle, including transaction recording, reconciliations, month‑end and year‑end closing, and coordination with the US accounting firm for tax and statutory filings.
• Manage French accounts payable: process invoices, validate payments, reconcile supplier accounts, and support monthly closing of supplier balances.
• Ensure financial accuracy by reviewing entries, investigating discrepancies, and maintaining reliable records.
• Improve workflows, strengthen controls, and leverage existing automation tools.

Required profile

• 5+ years of general accounting experience with hands‑on month‑end and year‑end closing.
• Strong technical accounting skills: reconciliations, accruals, pre‑payments, and financial controls.
• Solid knowledge of French accounting, especially accounts payable processes.
• Fluent in French and English, able to communicate with international stakeholders.
• Detail‑oriented, autonomous, and comfortable managing priorities without constant supervision.

• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, financial reconciliations)
• Experience with Xero
• Experience with Spendesk
