Legal Manager – Mobility & Technology

About the role

Free2move is looking for an autonomous Legal Manager to support its fast‑growing Vehicle‑as‑a‑Service (VAAS) business. Reporting to the CEO, you will act as the primary legal partner for Business, Finance, Procurement and Product teams, turning complex legal issues into clear, actionable advice.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate B2B contracts, terms & conditions and supplier agreements, including complex IT contracts.
• Provide strategic legal advice to business and procurement, identifying risks and delivering pragmatic solutions.
• Manage litigation, pre‑litigation and collection matters, coordinating with external counsel.
• Advise on data protection, review Data Processing Agreements and support digital, technology and AI initiatives.
• Oversee corporate governance for the French entity and coordinate international governance with external counsel.
• Continuously improve legal templates, processes and mentor junior legal resources.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Law or equivalent.
• 7+ years of in‑house legal experience with international exposure.
• Strong generalist background covering commercial, corporate, litigation and data protection law.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and French; German is a plus.
• Autonomous, accountable, hands‑on mindset with solid business judgment.
