Legal Counsel – Telecom & Energy Sectors

About the role

Huawei Europe is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to provide comprehensive legal support across multiple business units, including renewable energy, telecom, enterprise, and cloud computing. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure compliance, negotiate contracts, and manage disputes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on business sectors such as renewable energy, telecom, enterprise, and cloud computing.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including sales contracts, distribution agreements, procurement terms, and partnership contracts.
• Develop and improve contract templates and internal legal guidelines.
• Support compliance topics covering labor, environment, and anti‑bribery (Sapin 2) regulations.
• Assist in pre‑litigation matters, dispute resolution, and claim‑management training.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Legal Counsel in a national or international telecom or energy company, or as a lawyer in a law firm.
• Proven expertise in HR law, contracts, or litigation with strong commercial sense.
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation abilities.
• Fluent written and oral communication in English (legal English) and French.
• Ability to work autonomously, proactively, and thrive in a fast‑paced, multinational environment.
