Legal Counsel – Evian Resort & Sponsorships (Permanent)

About the role

Danone is seeking a permanent Legal Counsel to support the Evian Resort & Sponsorships business unit in Paris. The role provides expert legal advice on a wide range of commercial, construction, property, insurance, and intellectual‑property matters, excluding employment law.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver day‑to‑day legal advice and support for Evian Resort activities.
• Manage the full contract lifecycle, including tracking, renewals, terminations, addenda, signatures and archiving.
• Draft, negotiate and validate all types of agreements, with a focus on IP, sponsorship, partnership and event contracts (music, sport, culture).
• Ensure compliance with external laws, Danone’s internal policies, sustainability principles, ethical code and GDPR requirements.
• Support legal disputes and litigation by preparing files, issuing formal notices and coordinating external counsel.
• Oversee insurance files and claims, interacting with brokers, insurers and experts.
• Provide legal training to internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• University law degree (Master level).
• Strong expertise in contract drafting and negotiation (excluding labor law).
• Deep knowledge of compliance matters and intellectual‑property law.
• Excellent attention to detail, proactive attitude and ability to manage multiple projects.
