Legal Counsel – European Expansion

About the role

VOSKER is seeking a Legal Counsel to support its first phase of expansion into Europe. You will work closely with Canadian legal leadership while becoming the primary legal partner for emerging European operations, helping to shape the company’s legal foundation across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal support to European business teams on commercial and operational matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including customer, supplier, and partnership contracts.
• Support compliance with European regulatory frameworks such as consumer law, data protection, and product‑specific regulations.
• Assist with corporate and governance matters for European entities.
• Contribute to the development of internal policies, templates, and legal processes.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments that may impact VOSKER’s European operations.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer in at least one European jurisdiction (preference for France or Germany).
• 2–5 years of relevant experience, ideally from a law firm and/or in‑house environment.
• Solid grounding in commercial law.
• Experience with cross‑border or multi‑jurisdictional matters is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with EU law and regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR) is preferred.
• Fluency in English; additional European languages, especially German, are an asset.
