Legal Counsel – Commercial Contracts (France/EU)

About the role

Lenovo is looking for an experienced Legal Counsel to join its EU‑META Global Contracts Team in France. The role will serve as the primary legal advisor for commercial contracts with French private‑sector and public‑sector customers, and will also support selected transactions in Belgium, Luxembourg and other EU countries.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the lead legal advisor for commercial contracts supporting Lenovo’s business in France.
• Draft, review and negotiate complex commercial agreements with private‑sector customers and public‑sector entities.
• Lead negotiations of annual commercial agreements with French distributors, resellers and channel partners.
• Advise on French public procurement matters and support responses to public tenders.
• Provide legal support for selected commercial transactions in Belgium, Luxembourg and other EU jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with legal colleagues across Europe and other regions to ensure consistent global contracting practices.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer in France or Belgium, fluent in French and English.
• Proven experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts in both languages.
• Strong knowledge of French public procurement law and EU commercial regulations.
• Ability to work closely with business units and provide commercially‑focused legal advice.
