About the role

K&L Gates is seeking a Junior Associate to join its Finance Practice in Paris. The role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of financing transactions, primarily in real estate finance and restructuring, within a leading global law firm.

Key responsibilities

Advise clients on financing transactions, especially real estate finance and restructuring.
Draft, review, and negotiate finance documentation.
Support transaction execution, due diligence processes, and closings.
Liaise with clients, counterparties, and internal stakeholders.
Contribute to business development and knowledge‑sharing initiatives within the practice.

Required profile

Qualification to practice law in France or an equivalent credential.
Professional fluency in French and English (written and spoken); additional language such as German is a plus.
First experience or internship within a finance practice is highly desirable.
Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
