Junior Associate – Finance Practice (Paris)

About the role

K&L Gates is seeking a Junior Associate to join its Finance Practice in Paris. The role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of financing transactions, primarily in real estate finance and restructuring, within a leading global law firm.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on financing transactions, especially real estate finance and restructuring.
• Draft, review, and negotiate finance documentation.
• Support transaction execution, due diligence processes, and closings.
• Liaise with clients, counterparties, and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to business development and knowledge‑sharing initiatives within the practice.

Required profile

• Qualification to practice law in France or an equivalent credential.
• Professional fluency in French and English (written and spoken); additional language such as German is a plus.
• First experience or internship within a finance practice is highly desirable.
• Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
