Junior Associate – Finance Practice (Paris)

About the role
K&L Gates is seeking a Junior Associate to join its Finance Practice in Paris. The role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of financing transactions, primarily in real estate finance and restructuring, within a leading global law firm.
Key responsibilities
- Advise clients on financing transactions, especially real estate finance and restructuring.
- Draft, review, and negotiate finance documentation.
- Support transaction execution, due diligence processes, and closings.
- Liaise with clients, counterparties, and internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to business development and knowledge‑sharing initiatives within the practice.
Required profile
- Qualification to practice law in France or an equivalent credential.
- Professional fluency in French and English (written and spoken); additional language such as German is a plus.
- First experience or internship within a finance practice is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
