Senior Legal Counsel – Consumer Business (Paris)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join the Consumer Business team in Paris. The role supports the company’s expanding B2B2C and B2B operations, providing practical legal guidance to senior stakeholders and helping achieve strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead negotiation and drafting of complex commercial agreements, including procurement, supply‑chain and customer contracts.
• Advise business teams on commercial transactions, balancing legal risk with commercial objectives.
• Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks and best‑practice guidance to streamline legal processes.
• Support compliance matters such as competition law, anti‑corruption (Sapin II), conflicts of interest and whistleblowing.
• Assist in implementing and evolving compliance policies, governance frameworks and internal training.
• Provide legal support on corporate governance, board processes, restructurings and strategic projects.
• Manage relationships with external legal advisers for specialist input.
• Drive continuous improvement across the legal function through effective processes, technology and cross‑functional collaboration.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with 10–15 years of post‑qualified experience in a leading law firm, in‑house, or a combination of both.
• Strong commercial contracts experience, particularly in procurement, supply‑chain and sales agreements.
• Sound knowledge of compliance frameworks, including competition law, anti‑corruption (Sapin II), conflicts of interest and whistleblowing.
• Experience supporting B2B2C and B2B business models in an international environment.
• Fluent in English and French.
