IT Support Engineer – Desktop & Mobile Support

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to provide first- and second‑level assistance for desktops, laptops, printers and mobile devices. You will be the first point of contact for employees, handling service requests and incidents through a ticketing system, phone or in‑person.

Key responsibilities

• Install, upgrade and maintain Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems and software applications.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and peripheral issues, including monitors, keyboards and docking stations.
• Configure new employee workstations, set up user accounts and permissions.
• Maintain an accurate asset inventory and documentation of IT equipment.
• Support remote users with VPN, remote desktop and connectivity problems.
• Assist with onboarding and off‑boarding from a technical perspective.
• Collaborate with other IT teams on escalated issues and project‑related tasks.
• Follow security protocols, including antivirus management, patching and data‑protection policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in desktop support, helpdesk or IT technician role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365 and basic networking concepts.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Zendesk or JIRA.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
