IT Contract Administrator

About the role

The IT Contract Administrator will support the Head of Department, IT Governance and Executive Office in managing all IT‑related contracts. Based in Lyon, the role focuses on ensuring contractual compliance, drafting new contract provisions, and keeping contracts aligned with evolving technology needs.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor existing IT contracts to verify SLA adherence, cost compliance and trigger penalties or reimbursements when necessary.
• Draft and review IT provisions for new or revised contracts, ensuring alignment with the IS Directorate’s rules, strategy, architecture and policies.
• Conduct technology watch activities to stay informed of market developments and recommend contract updates or new agreements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve contractual issues and support procurement processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in IT contract administration or a related field.
• Strong understanding of service level agreements, cost management and contract enforcement.
• Familiarity with IT governance frameworks and the ability to interpret technical specifications.
• Ability to track technology trends and assess their impact on existing contracts.
