International Business Development Director – Europe

About the role

We are seeking a senior leader to drive the international expansion of our custom workwear division across Europe. Based in France, you will spearhead market entry initiatives, build strategic partnerships, and secure large corporate and public‑sector contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the growth strategy for the custom workwear business in target European markets.
• Lead senior‑level business development activities with multinational corporations and public organisations.
• Identify, negotiate, and establish local partnerships, agents, and distributors where appropriate.
• Manage international tenders, commercial proposals, and country‑specific pricing strategies.
• Collaborate with design, marketing, and operations teams to tailor product offerings for each market.
• Own sales forecasts, budgets, and profitability metrics by country, reporting directly to the Managing Director.

Required profile

• 10+ years of international business development experience, including at least 5 years in custom workwear, corporate uniforms, or protective clothing.
• Proven track record of launching new markets from scratch.
• Experience selling to large corporate and public‑sector organisations at senior level.
• Fluent in English and French; additional European languages are a plus.
• Based in France, Benelux, or the UK with willingness to travel extensively across Europe.
• Comfortable operating as a senior individual contributor in a lean structure and capable of building a business case for future team growth.
