Account Executive – Defence & Intelligence (France)

About the role

Planet is looking for an Account Executive to lead its Defence & Intelligence business in France. You will own the end‑to‑end sales cycle for the French Ministry of the Armed Forces and the French Armed Forces, expanding a high‑tech satellite data portfolio within the government sector.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage a robust pipeline of government and defence opportunities.
• Identify, qualify, negotiate and close medium to large deals.
• Deliver product and solution demonstrations to senior government stakeholders.
• Accurately forecast revenue and pipeline health.
• Collaborate with global sales and technical teams to craft tailored solutions.

Required profile

• Proven track record selling to government and defence customers.
• Deep understanding of military operations, intelligence, and procurement frameworks.
• Strong network within French defence ministries and agencies.
• Independent, creative thinker with a results‑driven mindset.

Required skills

• Solution‑selling methodology.
• Quota‑carrying sales experience.
• Ability to navigate complex procurement processes.
