Installation Team Manager - Europe

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking an Installation Team Manager for Europe, based in Bernin, France. You will lead a district of installation engineers, ensuring safe, high‑quality, and on‑time execution of semiconductor equipment installations across the region.

Key responsibilities

• First‑line people management of installation engineers, including work assignment, salary and career planning, performance appraisals, and corrective actions.
• Plan and execute field installations, coordinating resources, schedules, and hand‑off processes with the service group to meet safety, quality, cycle‑time, and cost targets.
• Partner with service teams on daily ramp‑up activities, adjusting resources or working hours to meet customer‑satisfaction timelines.
• Coach engineers, coordinate technical troubleshooting, and manage escalation procedures to technical support.
• Oversee accurate tracking of engineers' hours, perform cross‑checks, and take corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure product resource availability and capacity across sites to maintain installation productivity.
• Act as field contact for IPG/BU, supporting HQ key projects, global program adoption, and providing feedback on technical and quality issues.
