About the role

The company, a specialist in mechanical machining located near Lyon, is looking for a Business Engineer (male/female) to drive its commercial development. Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle, from tender preparation to contract signing, for a portfolio of machining projects.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities in the machining sector.
• Prepare and submit competitive tenders and proposals.
• Negotiate terms and close contracts with industrial clients.
• Coordinate with production and engineering teams to ensure feasibility and delivery.
• Maintain and develop long‑term relationships with key accounts.

Required profile

• Proven experience in industrial sales or business development, preferably within mechanical machining or related manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of the tendering process and ability to manage complex projects.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in French; English proficiency is a plus.
