HR Legal Counsel

About the role

We are looking for an HR Legal Counsel to support Voodoo’s HR Operations team in France. You will provide legal guidance on hiring, onboarding, immigration, employment contracts, performance management and off‑boarding, and assist the VP of HR with collective labor relations.

Key responsibilities

• Answer daily HR legal queries related to recruitment, onboarding, immigration, employment relationships and performance management.
• Review and draft HR legal documents such as employment contracts, amendments and termination paperwork.
• Lead discussions and negotiations with potential legal implications.
• Support the VP of HR in managing collective labor relations with employee representatives.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience as a labor law lawyer or in‑house HR legal counsel in a fast‑growing environment.
• Strong legal reasoning and solid knowledge of French labor law.
• Autonomous, organized, structured and able to adapt quickly.
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills in French and English.
