Head of Financial Control

About the role

Marex is looking for a Head of Financial Control to lead the financial reporting and control function for Marex SA and its branches. The role will ensure accurate monthly results, budget monitoring and regulatory reporting while driving continuous process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee production of monthly analytical results and monitor P&L by desk.
• Analyse revenue and main expenses for the entity and its branches.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for the Marex SA Board.
• Monitor monthly budgets, identify variances and provide explanations.
• Supervise calculation, accounting and payment of Front Office bonuses.
• Ensure timely production of regulatory reports.
• Drive automation and simplification of departmental tasks.
• Draft and update support documentation.
• Manage the management control team, allocate tasks and evaluate performance.

Required profile

• Master's degree (BAC+5) in Finance, Management Control or a related field.
• 10‑15 years of experience in a similar financial control role, preferably in the financial sector.
• Strong interpersonal skills, curiosity, rigor and a sense of responsibility.
• Fluent English.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Knowledge of VBA (or a BI tool) is an asset.
