Global Tax Accounting & Planning Manager

About the role

Alstom is seeking a Global Tax Accounting and Planning Manager to join its international finance team. Reporting to the VP Tax & Customs, you will ensure accurate tax figures in the Group’s consolidated accounts, support forecasts and planning, and drive key regulatory projects such as Pillar Two.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare tax figures for month‑end closings, forecasts and planning, covering current tax, deferred tax and effective tax rate monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with IAS 12 and produce transparent tax disclosures for the Group financial statements.
• Analyse tax drivers, cash flows and major variations to support tax planning and cash monitoring.
• Maintain and enhance tax reporting tools, packages and documentation used for actuals, forecasts and planning.
• Coordinate direct tax compliance, monitor uncertain tax positions and tax risks with the Group Tax team.
• Lead transparency and regulatory reporting, including Country‑by‑Country Reporting (CbCR) and embed Pillar Two requirements into the tax accounting framework.
• Contribute to process, system and control improvements for tax accounting and reporting.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in tax accounting, reporting and planning within a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of IAS 12, direct tax compliance and regulatory reporting.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional stakeholders and drive transformation projects.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
