Frontend Engineer (React)

About the role

Pennylane is looking for a Frontend Engineer specialized in React to join its product‑led engineering team. You will work in a cross‑functional squad that builds end‑to‑end features for a financial operating system used by hundreds of thousands of SMEs and accounting firms across France.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and designers during the discovery phase to define feature requirements.
• Design, develop, test, and ship high‑quality React components and user interfaces.
• Participate in architecture discussions with fellow engineers to ensure scalability and maintainability.
• Monitor production, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely support to customers.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and best practices.

Required profile

• Strong sense of ownership, autonomy, and proactive problem‑solving.
• Experience working in a fast‑growing tech environment, preferably within a fintech or SaaS context.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote‑friendly, multicultural team.
