Front-End Developer Intern

About the role

Moody's is looking for a Front‑End Developer Intern to join its Core Technical Capabilities team in Montbonnot‑Saint‑Martin, France. You will help build and maintain a shared design system and reusable Angular components while learning from experienced engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop reusable Angular components and customize Material themes following design‑system standards.
• Perform accessibility, responsiveness and cross‑browser testing to ensure inclusive user experiences.
• Document components to support consistent implementation across product teams.
• Collaborate with designers and product owners to gather feedback and improve the design system.
• Participate in code reviews and follow best‑practice development processes.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Master’s or engineering degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Professional working proficiency in both French and English.
• Curiosity, initiative and willingness to seek feedback in a mentored environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with modern Angular framework (including Signals and Material 3).
• Basic experience with Git, pull requests and code reviews.
• Experience with Sass stylesheets, unit‑testing frameworks or component documentation tools (preferred).
• Interest in design systems, web accessibility and responsible AI concepts.
