Freelancer Technical Recruiter

About the role

Prelude is looking for a hands‑on, autonomous Technical Recruiter on a freelance basis. You will own the full recruitment cycle for Engineering and Product teams, partnering directly with founders and hiring managers to shape hiring strategy and deliver a great candidate experience.

Key responsibilities

• Full‑cycle recruiting for Engineering and Product roles, from defining search criteria to creating outbound strategies and closing offers.
• Partner with hiring managers to conduct intake calls, define structured interview processes, and build clear scorecards.
• Advise on compensation benchmarking and overall hiring strategy.
• Build and maintain a strong, structured talent pipeline using multiple sourcing channels.
• Identify gaps in the hiring process and implement efficient solutions.
• Own talent‑acquisition metrics, funnel analysis, and reporting to inform decisions.
• Maintain ATS data cleanliness for accurate forecasting.

Required profile

• 4–7 years of recruiting experience with a proven record of hiring for tech and product roles.
• Background recruiting for SaaS or tech companies, preferably in fast‑paced startup environments.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, able to uncover hiring needs, push back when necessary, and keep expectations aligned.
• Creative sourcing abilities, crafting outbound messaging that drives high response rates.
• Data‑driven approach to recruitment with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Excellent English communication skills and interest in providing top‑notch candidate experience.
