Founding Recruiter

About the role

Share is looking for its first internal recruiting hire to build and own the talent function. Working directly with the founders, you will shape how the company attracts, hires, and retains top technical and non‑technical talent worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Source, engage, and close senior‑level candidates across network, software, systems engineering and business functions.
• Develop and own Share’s employer brand narrative across LinkedIn, referrals, community channels and every candidate touchpoint.
• Run the full hiring cycle: intake with founders, job description creation, sourcing strategy, screening, interview coordination, candidate experience, and offer management.
• Maintain the ATS (currently Ashby), ensure clean data, build process playbooks and a scalable recruiting operating system.
• Partner with founders on hiring philosophy, compensation strategy and top‑of‑funnel approaches.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of full‑cycle recruiting experience, either in‑house at a startup or at a boutique search firm.
• Proven track record hiring deeply technical roles such as network, systems and software engineers.
• Hands‑on experience managing an ATS (e.g., Ashby, Greenhouse, Lever).
• Strong sourcing instincts and ability to craft an employer brand narrative.
• Comfort operating in a fast‑moving, ambiguous, founder‑led environment.
