Flight Control Actuator Specialist (m/f)

About the role

Airbus UpNext is launching a high‑stakes demonstrator to accelerate future Airbus programmes. Based in Toulouse (Saint‑Martin) with regular travel to Cazaux, the Flight Control Actuator Specialist will join a flat, fast‑paced project team to deliver and validate flight‑control actuators for the demonstrator, under a limited‑term contract ending July 2029.

Key responsibilities

• Manage functional and electrical integration of flight‑control actuators.
• Define, plan and execute verification & validation (V&V) activities.
• Coordinate production, supplier testing and qualification campaigns.
• Perform bench testing and aircraft ground/flight testing of actuators.
• Prepare V&V documentation required for the permit‑to‑fly.
• Support maintenance, troubleshooting and post‑test analysis.
• Collaborate with loads, airframe and other flight‑control design teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in electro‑mechanical actuator design, development and testing.
• Strong background in flight‑control systems.
• Proven experience in test planning and execution.
• Good understanding of system interfaces and integration management.
• Ability to propose efficient, simplified solutions.
• Fluent in English and French.
