Finance Manager France

About the role

Linklaters, a global law firm with 30 offices in 20 countries, is looking for a Finance Manager France to lead its local finance team. The role ensures the accuracy, timeliness and compliance of financial operations, including statutory accounting, financial reporting, revenue recognition and cash flow management, while acting as a strategic advisor to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports
• Oversee local statutory accounting and compliance, including GAAP and regulatory standards
• Manage revenue recognition and reconciliation, and support cash flow, tax and audit management
• Prepare VAT, tax and social obligations returns (CNBF/URSSAF) and manage the relationship with external auditors
• Advise local leadership and present regular updates on financial performance and outlook
• Develop and lead a team of five: one senior accounting and tax advisor, one accounts payable advisor, one local and statutory accounting advisor, and two senior accounts receivable / credit control advisors

Required profile

• 10+ years of financial management experience in a corporate or professional services environment
• Degree from a business school or university (Bac+5 or equivalent), ideally in accounting, audit or finance
• French and English, written and spoken
• Professional qualification (e.g. DSCG, DEC) and/or Big 4 audit experience highly desirable
