Finance Consultant – Remote (up to $100/hr)

About the role

Mercor is seeking a Finance Consultant to support AI research labs by evaluating and improving financial datasets used in model training. This fully remote contract role offers flexible hours and competitive hourly rates.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate financial models and strategies to enhance AI model training and outcomes.
• Review and analyze complex financial data for alignment with industry standards.
• Provide structured feedback to AI research teams to improve training data quality.
• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial datasets.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while contributing to AI model performance.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in hedge funds, private equity, investment banking, equity research, or venture capital.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data.
• Self‑motivated and comfortable working remotely.
