Experienced Accounting Advisory Associate – Nice/Marseille

About the role

EY's accounting advisory department, with more than 300 colleagues, offers operational support to financial services and finance teams across national and international clients, mainly SMEs, large companies and groups. The position is based in Marseille, with occasional client travel, and suits experienced professionals who want to work closely with the managing partner.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise accounting production work within a structured team.
• Contribute to financial reporting, with frequency depending on the client.
• Prepare and/or supervise routine tax filings (VAT, DAS2, tax returns, CVAE).
• Prepare, review and/or supervise interim and year-end closings, and prepare local GAAP conversions.
• Help clients compile financial statements in line with local accounting practices.
• Review foreign group subsidiaries and confirm the reliability of financial information.
• Manage accounting and tax deadlines independently and coordinate trainees and assistants.

Required profile

• Higher education degree (business school or university, DSCG).
• At least 3 years of experience in an accounting firm or a finance function, giving a degree of autonomy.
• Good interpersonal skills, flexibility, commitment and willingness to learn; teamwork.
