Director, Digital Payments Product Lead

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Director to lead the adoption and evolution of its Digital Solutions portfolio in France. The role sits at the intersection of product management, market strategy, and customer engagement, focusing on Click to Pay, Tokenization, Digital Wallets and Payment Credentials.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Account Managers to identify customer needs and market gaps, influencing Mastercard’s Digital Solutions roadmap in France.
• Lead product discovery, solution design and strategic engagements with issuing banks and fintechs.
• Support sales cycles from opportunity identification through deal closure, legal negotiation and commercialization.
• Own Digital Solutions such as Click to Pay, SCOF, Wallets and Tokenization initiatives for issuers and acquirers, ensuring alignment with the Acceptance strategy.
• Coordinate with the European Product team to prioritize market requests and educate the French market on Mastercard’s roadmap.
• Monitor competitors, fintech innovation trends and regulatory developments impacting digital payments.
• Design scalable deployment models and adoption strategies with customers.

Required profile

• Proven success managing and influencing senior client relationships (C‑level).
• Strong commercial acumen with experience structuring complex deals and partnerships.
• Strategic mindset combined with hands‑on execution capability.
• High level of autonomy, proactivity and results‑driven attitude.
• Fluency in French and English; additional European languages are a plus.
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Business or related field.
