Customer Service Advisor

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join The Collecting Group’s fast‑growing team in Paris or Munich. You will support our Collecting Cars and Watch Collecting brands, handling enquiries before and after auctions and helping to shape our customer‑service processes.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via email and phone, covering all aspects of car and watch auctions.
• Conduct proactive outreach to anticipate client needs, ensure a seamless experience and foster ongoing engagement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both sellers and buyers, creating trust throughout the auction process.
• Accurately record all interactions, case details and relevant information in Salesforce.
• Identify and resolve customer issues, spot repeat problems or trends and escalate to the appropriate teams.
• Support consignment teams during live auctions, handling customer requests in real time.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the customer service function.
• Collaborate with sales, technology and upload departments to deliver a cohesive customer experience.
• Handle sensitive customer data with discretion and maintain confidentiality.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a client‑services or customer‑service role.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to propose innovative solutions.
• Detail‑oriented and able to catch issues early.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced scale‑up environment while maintaining high quality.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills, especially with sales teams.
• Passion for delivering great customer outcomes.
• Fluency in French, Italian or another relevant language is highly desirable.
