About the role
The Corporate Department in Paris is looking for a 6‑month intern (January to June 2027) to support the Natural Resources, Energy, Development and Infrastructure financing team. The team advises extractive industry players operating in French‑speaking Africa on corporate, financing and regulatory matters.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and draft legal opinions in French and English.
- Prepare and review contracts, including acquisitions, joint‑ventures and shareholder agreements.
- Assist in audits and support associates and partners in daily case management.
Required profile
- Law student or trainee lawyer in a Master 2 specialised in business law.
- Strong legal knowledge, preferably complemented by a double degree (IEP or Anglo‑Saxon university).
- Fluent written and spoken English; French proficiency required.
Required skills
- Legal research.
- Contract drafting in French and English.
