Chef Cuisine Nikkei – Restaurant Kaito

About the role

Four Seasons Megeve is recruiting a Chef de Cuisine for its Nikkei restaurant, Kaito. The chef supervises and manages a team of Sous-Chefs, Chefs de Partie, Demi-Chefs de Partie, Commis, trainees, apprentices and kitchen helpers, and ensures that orders served in the dining room are executed quickly and with good quality, with work distributed evenly across the kitchen.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise Sous-Chefs, Chefs de Partie, Demi-Chefs de Partie, Commis, Trainees, Apprentices and Kitchen Helpers.
• Manage and supervise production at the workstations and in product storage.
• Implement and enforce technical specifications and the spirit of the kitchen.
• Take part in menu development.
• Adapt constantly to periods of high activity and manage customer relationships.

Required profile

• Two to five years of previous experience in a culinary leadership position.
• Legal right to work in France at the time of application.
• Fluency in French and English.

Required skills

• Ability to operate computer equipment and other food and beverage computer systems.
