CEO – Management Buy-In (Operating Partner) – France

About the role

All Interests Aligned (AIA) is seeking a seasoned executive to become the CEO‑owner of a high‑potential family‑owned SME in France facing a succession challenge. The role combines acquisition leadership with full operational responsibility, backed by AIA’s investors throughout the entire Management Buy‑In (MBI) process.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and assess acquisition targets with AIA’s financial and strategic support.
• Lead due diligence, valuation and deal structuring alongside AIA’s investment team.
• Negotiate and close acquisition agreements.
• Transition into the CEO role with a structured hand‑over plan.
• Drive day‑to‑day operations, governance, reporting and compliance.
• Develop and execute a value‑driven growth plan.
• Prepare and implement an exit strategy in partnership with AIA.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years of senior leadership experience, preferably as CEO or Managing Director.
• Deep, established professional roots within the French business community.
• Proven track record in managing or scaling SMEs or larger enterprises.
• Strong understanding of M&A processes and succession planning.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and build stakeholder relationships.
