C# Engineer – Remote FinTech Role

About the role

We are looking for a C# Engineer to join a collaborative, fully‑remote fintech team. You will help build modern, high‑performance applications that support critical business operations and drive long‑term success.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain C# applications for a fintech platform.
• Build and enhance backend services using ASP.NET MVC, Web Services and Windows Communication Foundation (WCF).
• Develop, optimise and maintain SQL Server databases to ensure performance and data integrity.
• Support application enhancements, troubleshoot issues and resolve bugs.
• Collaborate with distributed, cross‑functional teams to deliver robust software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Contribute ideas to improve performance, scalability and development processes.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience developing applications with C#.
• Strong proficiency with SQL Server, database design and management.
• Hands‑on experience with ASP.NET MVC, Web Services and WCF.
• Ability to work effectively during UK business hours and communicate fluently in English.
• Analytical, self‑motivated and comfortable working fully remote.
