Business Development Intern – Mandarin Speaker

About the role

Join Back Market’s Global Sellers Team to help onboard and grow Asian sellers, contributing to the expansion of high‑quality refurbished product selection across 17 markets.

Key responsibilities

• Qualify and onboard new sellers to increase Back Market’s product selection.
• Manage newly activated sellers through dedicated account management and pooled coverage, focusing on GMV and quality performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams (quality, logistics, finance, legal) to support sellers.
• Identify top sellers on competitor platforms in Hong Kong, China and broader Asia.
• Support business development communication, including webinars and creating bilingual (Chinese/English) enablement content.

Required profile

• Available for a 6‑month internship starting January 2027.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin (professional level).
• Strong time‑management, detail‑orientation and analytical thinking.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and engage with SMBs and e‑commerce.
