Business Development Apprentice – Global Innovation Team

About the role

Join the Global Business Development team within Cooper Consumer Health’s Global Innovation Team. As a Business Development Apprentice you will support the creation of new product solutions through external licensing, helping to build a strong innovation pipeline across Europe and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Define frameworks for archiving existing and new BD partners.
• Support scouting activities for new products or improvements in close collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Identify and scout potential new BD partners and technologies within Europe and internationally (Asia, Middle East, US).
• Help locate existing product solutions for new project briefings using the BD database.
• Assist the Innovation team in preparing and executing Ideation Workshops.

Required profile

• Previous experience in Business Development or Procurement within Consumer Healthcare, FMCG or pharmaceutical sectors (preferred).
• Experience in international or multi‑market environments, preferably Europe.
• Student in a Business School or equivalent, Master’s level preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical abilities with a talent for synthesising information.
• Organised, team‑oriented and eager to thrive in an international setting.
• Fluent in English (mandatory); additional European language a plus.
