Automotive Technical Support Specialist

About the role

MSX International supports leading automotive brands worldwide, helping improve business performance, customer satisfaction and network operations across more than 80 countries. This role joins its technical hotline team, providing remote support to the dealer network of a major automotive manufacturer.

Key responsibilities

• Guide and advise dealership technicians through complex diagnostic procedures using official manufacturer documentation.
• Track critical technical cases and vehicle-off-road issues to ensure swift resolution.
• Gather and escalate field data to help the manufacturer continuously improve product quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to diagnostic tools.
• Take part in technical meetings and occasionally visit dealerships on site for specialised cases.

Required profile

• Solid background as an automotive technician (mechanical/electrical) with a strong track record in troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Deep understanding of automotive mechanics and vehicle electronics.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and master diagnostic tools.
• Comfortable navigating technical documentation.
• Working knowledge or proficiency in technical English is a plus.
• Team player with strong communication skills, good teaching skills and active listening.
